Message	We had a shop teacher in high school that loved bass. He showed us how to produce enclosures out of particle board and then use fire place tiles for acoustic benefit. He used a very cheap 8" kenwood woofer, not even considered sub-woofer and it made bass I couldn't believe. It was driven on a low wattage amp (I think 60 watts). I'm not saying it could shake a trunk, but it had a very impressive thump for such a cheap project. Its been a few years since then, I've given up on car audio since I got a TT. I can say that spending the most money doesn't always get you the loudest stereo.
